Wednesday Club Colours Social Run 4th March 2026 - Meet at 6.50pm for a 7.00pm start at The Bull, 129 High Street, Wanstead E11 2RL - Oak Hill Run (Approx 6 miles)

The run will start and finish at The Bull, 129 High Street, Wanstead E11 2RL, followed by a club social in the pub afterwards.



New members are welcome. Please come along and try us out for up to three trial runs.

Saturday 7th March 2026 - Parkrun

Saturday morning parkrun.

At 9.00am FREE timed 5k runs/races at Wanstead Flats (Harrow Road), Valentines Park (Ilford), Roding Valley, Walthamstow, Barking and many other venues across London, the UK and other Countries.



Suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced runners.

Saturday 7th March 2026 - Chingford League Race 7 - The Relays Hosted by East London Runners.

Chingford League Relays followed by the end of season presentations.
Wanstead Flats
11.30am start.

4x3km for Seniors and U15/17s 4x2km for U11/13s

Wanstead Flats, Harrow Road Pavilion, E11 3QA

Please add your name to race entries or email info@eastlondonrunners.org.uk, if you are able to run in the relays. We are looking to field at least three mens and womens team made up of four runners per team. You can still run and register a time, if you are part of an incomplete team, or a solo runner. Speak to Cath Perry, Amit Marks, or Mike Wilson if you have questions regarding the race.

We also require at least 20 volunteers to help set up the course, carry out marshalling duties and help out at the ELR charity cake stall. For information on specific duties, please speak to Catriona Hoult who will be coordinating the volunteers and Tricia ONeill who is organising the cake stall. Please email info@eastlondonrunners.org.uk if you are able to help out. It is important we have enough volunteers to ensure the event goes smoothly on the day.

Sunday 22nd March 2026 - Essex and Suffolk Road Relay Championships - Northern Gateway, Colchester

We are taking entries for the Essex and Suffolk Road Relay Championships at Colchester on Sunday 22nd March.

Please add your name to race entries, or email info@eastlondonrunners.org.uk by Thursday 12th March, if you would like to be entered as part of an ELR relay team.

The event schedule will be as follows:

Race 1: Junior Girls (U13, U15 & U17) Distance approx. 1.6 miles Start time 9.45am
Race 2: Junior Boys (U13, U15 & U17) Distance approx. 1.6 miles Start time 10.30am
Race 3: Women (Open, V40, V50 & V60) Distance approx. 3 miles Start time 11.15am
Race 4: Vet Men (V40, V50 & V60) Distance approx. 3 miles Start time 12.15pm
Race 5: Open Men Distance approx. 3 miles – Start time 1.15pm
Races 1-4: team of 3 runners and for the Open Mens event it will be a team of 4.

In order to comply with EA regulations, Team Captains are required to submit a list of names, EA numbers and Dates of Birth of their runners who could be part of their teams before race day so that county qualifications can be checked (same process as the County XC relays which were held in the winter).
Athletes are reminded that they must wear Club colours.

The club will enter you and pay your registration fee, however please ensure that you are available to run on the day.
